ACM SIGMOD/PODS Conference: Vancouver, 2008
Conference Venue

Vancouver is consistently ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world. It will also be the location for the 2010 Winter Olympics. In terms of geographical location, Vancouver is well connected by flights to all US cities, Europe and East Asia. Every year one million passengers go through the Vancouver port to Alaska. As a multi-ethnic metropolitan city, Vancouver has also been recognized as one of the top cities in North America with a great variety of affordable restaurants.

The conference hotel is located right at the entrance of Stanley Park, which is a popular location for jogging, walking, biking, roller-blading and other sports activities. The hotel  is only 5 minutes from Robson Street, which features great shopping. We look forward to your coming to Vancouver for SIGMOD/PODS 2008.
